Staff open the order, hit “Portal link…”, and copy the link or text it straight to the customer. Each order gets its own expiring, cryptographically signed link — no customer accounts, passwords, or order numbers to remember.
When there’s an open balance, customers see an itemized invoice card and a “Pay” button that opens Stripe-hosted checkout for the remaining balance. Amounts are computed server-side, and payments reconcile back into the order automatically. Need a different day? A quick change request lands right on the order’s staff notes.
